Fire Procedure
Your safety is our priority. Please familiarise yourself with these important fire safety procedures.
On hearing the fire alarm
Locate the source and possible cause of the fire alarm, if it is safe to do so.
On discovering a fire
Raise the alarm immediately and inform your flatmates
If a fire alarm point is available, activate it
Attempt to tackle the fire only if it is safe to do so
Do not put yourself at personal risk
Call 999 immediately
Close all doors behind you if possible
Leave the building immediately
Wait at the designated assembly point
Important
Do not stop to collect personal belongings
Do not use lifts
Do not re-enter the building until told it is safe to do so by the Fire Service
